Overview:
We all know first impressions are everything. So, when I was asked to design a logo, with full creative freedom, for the music project "Force Us To Stop", I couldn't rest until I felt that the image I created nearly jumped off the page and punched the viewer in the face.

Details:
Choosing to forego the obvious stop sign route, I decided instead to draw inspiration from a truly powerful image which would invoke the emotion of the project's name: the famous photograph by Jeff Widener of tanks halting for "The Unknown Rebel" on Chang'an Boulevard in Tiananmen Square, Beijing taken on June 5, 1989.
